Buzzard Eggs
Okay my server will not allow me to post a picture of a cute little post office south of here. Wondered if they will let me post a picture of buzzard eggs that belonged to a Mama buzzard. I've wrote before about this Mama buzzard. We watched these hatch and the little buzzard were as cute as a button until they started growing and the soft yellow feathers turned black and a few long ones stuck straight out the back. They finally flew away to never be seen again.
i've never seen baby buzzards in person - just on some other blogs. they're pretty weird looking babies. :) but they do a good job. i like having them around.
ReplyDeletesorry you're still having issues. have you cleared your cache/history? (Tools-Internet Options-then in the middle Delete browsing history)
Yes I do that every night before I go offline and check spam and get rid of that if I have any. I started with an AOL journal in '03 and then transferred to Blogger when everyone else did and I've never had so much trouble. Oh well its not the end of the world. lol
ReplyDeleteI've never seen baby buzzards. I can only imagine how "uncute" they must be!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your computer issues. Sorry I'm on no help.
Isn't it strange how anything is cute when it is a baby? Too bad some creatures don't stay cute.
ReplyDeleteI have not had picture problems, just posting ones.
Who would have thought a buzzard would lay in a nest inside a building? Helen
ReplyDeleteNever saw a buzzard egg, never thought about it but I reckon they gotta lay and hatch eggs like all birds. Don't think I wanna fry any of 'em.Love from NC
ReplyDeleteWe have turkey vultures that are about as 'unpretty' as a buzzard...did not know they layed and hatched on the ground either...interesting stuff Paula

Buzzards are beautiful -- when they're high up in the air, gliding.
