Who Is That Hootin' In Our Back Yard?

Last Night John woke me in the middle of the night to ask me if I wanted to hear two owls talking. Do kids like candy? It isn't every night we have owls in our back yard here in town. One was on the electrical pole and the other was in our tree. One would say something and then the other would answer. Wouldn't you love to know what they were saying? I would

  1. Do kids like candy. LOL, I'm with you. I'd rather the owls than UFO indentations. ~Mary

  3. The first owl said, "The say ground owls taste like chicken." The second owl said, "I'm a barn owl so I don't give a hoot."

  11. We had an owl fall down our Chimney once.
My neighbor put his gloves on and rescued him.
He was thankful and boy did it sail out of
    sight fast.

lst owl...Is this the place where the lady feeds
    everybody.

2nd owl..I don't know but if you want to stay
until morning we will find out.

  12. I love hearing owls talking to each other -- not something we get to hear too often around here. I love hearing whippoorwills calling back and forth too!
