Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

A Recipe For A Country Comedy
Take one older women, two diretic pills, and one little muddy spot behind the water tank. Lets just say it painted a funny picture and as a good friend of mine used to say "it will all come out in the wash". We went out this afternoon to see if we could find Pal and The Looker who are both due to have a calf. Neither showed up this morning when John was out. We didn't find either but that doesn't necessarily mean they are in trouble or have even given birth yet. John did take five large calves to maket today. He is trying to weed his herd down for the expected dry winter.
oh, don't you just love emergency country pitstops!? :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Having done some camping in my day, I can do relate!
ReplyDeleteAt least you had a water tank...lol.
ReplyDeleteHope Pal and the Looker are okay.
That's the one good thing about being a guy and we don't have to watch for critters or cacti.
ReplyDeleteGood luck finding Pal and Looker.
Jimmy

ReplyDeleteHave been there and done that many times when riding around in the country. I have been in cyber hell but I am back. Comments are flowing again.
ReplyDeleteWell, for us men it's a bit easier lol
ReplyDeleteI'm chuckling about Lucy's comment... and your entry has made me smile today! My worst nightmare... I guess I never have been much of a camper... and the only reason the good Lord didn't put me in the 1800's is because I would have killed someone without air conditioning and I don't do so well with outhouses. They really make me feel unwell. I encounter the same feeling again in close proximity to a portable outhouse.
ReplyDeleteI hope you post some pics of the calfs when arrive.
ReplyDeleteI guess my blog has not been showing up. I think I am back. DD found me and responded. She said she has been looking for me. I thought something might be off. With the computer smarts I have, which is none, I probably screwed up.
