Spiked Hair & Clothes Hangers

I did two things today that I have never done before. Have you ever just felt like doing something wild? The first one wasn't so wild but it was something I never thought I would do. I have always had access to free clothes hangers since my son-in-law and my ex-son-in-law both worked in offices and wore white shirts. I could always bum plenty of the good white hangers but today I found myself with wet clothes and no hangers and daughters too far away so I bought clothes hangers. The wild part is I've always wanted to spike my hair. Today I told the salon operator "do it" and after hesitating and looking at me she did it. So far I like it but I know when I get tired of it and want to let it grow out and it takes forever the self hate will appear. I know this is not a country tale but it is better then complaining which I could do.

  12. I used to work on a dry cleaners and had many clothes hangers. We had to assemble the hangers for the pants. Spiked hair is a PAIN when you get ready to grow it out. lol @ jon's comment

  14. Maybe you'll find it is you & you'll keep it.
It is a country tale in the sense that it's yours. Regardless of hair length or volume, you're still a country girl.

  17. You Go Girl!!! We need to venture out occasionally. Just so you don't start walking around with your crack showing and walking on the hems of your jeans with a boom box on your shoulder~~~geeeez
I shouldn't talk. I just had to cut a pair off cuz I neglected to hem them, yup, ripped, dirty, non-repairable. I also just let my hair grow long again for the first time in 20 yrs. Then I straightened it...must be a second childhood thing., and I used to laugh at Aunt Clara.
