I'm On The List

This morning I was reading Lucy's blog about how her precious dog Spunky puts she and Joe to bed at night before he gets into his own bed. I was thinking how valuable people's pets become to them. One lady in our town values her dog a lot. She has put signs all over town advertising the disappearance of her Chiuahua offering a $1,000 reward for it's return. She has placed a very large ad in our paper saying her pet was wearing a sleeveless shirt with the words "I'm On The List". I don't have any idea what that is supposed to mean but if I find her dog I will return it as now she has upped the reward to $5,000. Just kidding, I would return a person's pet without a reward.

  6. Wow, for $5,000 I'm going to be looking for a chiuahua wearing a "I'm on the List" sleeveless shirt - - even though I doubt if it walked all the way here to West Texas.
By the way, I have no clue what "I'm on the List" means, either.....

  7. I would never though that I would care as much as I do about a dog are cat. I guess when we get older we find out that they are the best loving pets we can have. I have spent quite a large amount in the pass year on Jett and would be heart broken if he was lost. Like you I would never take a reward money I would just be glad I had found it and was able to find the owner. Take care. Jean

  8. Yes, Paula. It is amazing how much people love their pets. They are like children. I have wondered, if one could measure the love, whose would be greater, the pet's or the master's?

  12. We have a dog in our neighborhood
named Baxter. He is just like
a puppy long legs and loved to
run. When they let him out you
can hear her calling him real
    loud Baxter, Baxter. The man
up the street ask me one day
is that dog's name Bastard. I
thought that was funny I said no
    his name is Baxter.

If the dog gets this far and I
see him I will mail it back home.
