Texas Master Naturalist
One of my daughters just had her first class to become a Certified Texas Master Naturalist. Put on by Texas Parks And Wildlife and Agrilife Extension Service. This is not a paid job, it is volunteer work to help preserve and maintain the ecological balance of Texas land. The volunteers help with projects or teach others.

Cool!
That is OK for TX. It is very good that someone takes the time to get involved. I like that. I know yu are proud of her.
Love from NC
I will be absent for a day or so. looking for new ears. (LOL)
I know you're proud of her.
What a wonderful thing to do! I wish we had something like that here :) I hope you are doing well, Paula. Sending lots of hugs to you! Beate
Even though it's not a paid job, it will be a very rewarding experience.
That is my idea of a very worthy
place to volunteer. Kudos to
your daughter.
Neat - she can give you tips to pass along!
That is so nice...hope she enjoys it.
That sounds like interesting volunteer work. I have a friend who is a certified master gardener through the state extension office here in Arkansas. I think it would be fascinating to learn more about preservation.
Good for her! We need more people who will become involved. Maybe she can tell me what became of all the fireflies. Of course, we called them lightening bugs and there were millions of them every summer. I haven't seen one in decades.
You should be proud of your daughter! All the best to continue this service...
How wonderful she has become certified. I can applaud her for working/studying diligently to help preserve Texas treasures!!!
I think that's great! I could see Eler Beth doing this.
