An Old Building Still Stands
This old building still stands in Charlotte, Texas. It was John's Mother's café/beer joint type business. Over the years it has been occupied by a restaurant and an antique store and maybe more but nothing has stayed. Just an old building with many memories.
I have always had a fascination about old buildings, and their stories, and always the people who were there. Hopefully someone decides to give it life again.
ReplyDeleteYou know I was driving past some old buildings Monday and one of the girls with me - and she pointed out a house her parents lived in. So much history out there - and people - and things we will never know. So it was interesting seeing some more history.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Chatty. It is nice to know some history in a building. Definitely looks Texas. For us old cowboy lovers all it needs is a couple rails out front to tie up the horses.
