Not Quite Normal Yet

Comapny is gone and the house is almost back in order but I came down with a full blown old fashioned head cold plus Arthiritis in my right arm and shoulder. It even hurts to drive but I gritted my teeth and ran some errands this morning. In all fairness I have to say company took us for a wonderful catfish lunch near New Braunfels, Texas at Clearsprings restaurant before they left. It was in a huge tall old barn like building with all kinds of collectables hanging everywhere and on the wall. The burning pear by himself almost did John in this morning. I still haven't been to the ranch and don't know when I will go again.

  2. It does take a while to get back to normal after having house guests for a lengthy time. We used to have that quite often when relatives lived in California. Glad you are making progress..lol...Hope you feel better soon.

  3. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, I'm sure this latest round of weather is not helping. Well, you can rest up and recuperate now that the company is finally gone. A catfish lunch sounds mighty good!

  8. What you need is some more company. I'll pack my bags and cats and I'll be there soon!

(Wait! Stop running! I'm only joking!)

  9. Sounds like your company should have stayed longer, so they could take care of you. Poor thing suffering like that on Christmas week. My right knee gave out so I can't walk. Still have a cough and congestion from Thanksgiving. So I can relate to your problems. HANG in THERE. hope you can lift your head off the pillow Christmas Day. Until then, REST! Get better. Take care.

  11. Paula, I hope you will feel better soon. I have Cotten in one ear with my knee barely holding me up. I am wearing my knee brace again.I think having company wears a person down. I have not had company but sometimes Joe gets a wild hair to drive me nuts, Like rearranging my cabinets so "it is easier for me". I got news for him, after his hands have been busy I can not find a lid or a pan.
