Just A Note

Having nerve pain in lower back and down the leg. Can't be on the computer very much. Had Acupuncture this afternoon but it doesn't seem to be helping like it did last time. Different lady and not as many needles. I'm reading and commenting when I can but not out looking for pictures to post. Have any of you had this and what did you do for it that helped? I've already had shots, therapy, choiropractor (sp), heating pad, and cold packs. Thanks for listening.

  1. I hate to hear you're having to deal with that. Sorry, but I know of nothing to help, remedy wise. But will include you in my prayers.

  2. Huh,uh not the asme but I had a 'catch' in my back once and the Chiopractor did wonders for that. I have the nerve type pains, the ones I have had have just had to go away on their own.

Hope you get to feeling much better SOONER!

  9. my John suggested exercises
angry cat = hunch your back
    and
pencil = pretend you're trying to hold a pencil in the middle of your back
he can probably explain it better
so, I'll ask him again tomorrow
    he's sleeping, now
I pray something works for you!

  10. Oh...have they done MRI scanning ?
It, as you may be knowing, will show what exactly is your problem at the back, prolapsed disc, compressed nerve etc. Then your doctor will tell you what you should do.
Taking care of the back is also very important. Proper posture, lifting techniques, avoiding injury to the back...relaxation, all are important.
    Cool blog...

  11. Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear you're in so much pain!! I hope you'll feel much better very soon. I've been suffering back pain for a long time (not nerve pain though) and the only thing that helped me was getting into a regular routine of Pilates. It has changed my life when the pain started to disappear. I stopped doing it for four years but now I'm getting back into it since the pain came back.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog, Paula!
Feel better soon, I'm sending you a big hug!
