Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

You Never Know What You Will See On A Country Road
Not John's longhorn, but one of a field of longhorns on a country road south of here. She didn't mind posing at all. The spike coming out of her head is a tower in the distance.
Amazing to think they herded and drove thousands at a time. The total width of these beauties is fantastic. They couldn't run thru the woods too fast! But then I say that about ELK! (smile)
Great picture Paula, rather you than me risking taking one LOL!!Have a wonderful Christmas Paula and all the very best for 2014 to you and yours.I don't think I shall get back to Blogger now, before the Holiday.Been ill 2wks and too much to do now. Take Care God Bless Kath xx
That picture of the birds and the other of that pretty animal, Coloring and horns are very eye catching. Have a very Merry Christmas to you and John and a Happy New Year.

She's pretty and awesome set of horns. Always liked longhorns but would never want to keep them. I heard they like to tear up fences, ekk...
LOVE her coloring. Nice, indeed.
she's got a beautiful rack.

What a neat photo! I haven't seen a genuine longhorn in a long time.
I laughed when I saw your header photo, because the other night I watched the movie "The Birds" on TV!
