Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Did It Take A Ball Peen Hammer Hit On The Head?
Company from Alaska is coming back Sunday afternoon about five. Supper (dinner) time? Four of them and John and I make six. The sister from the country doesn't want to have it at her house because it is messed up. Humm so that's how you manage it? By Sunday I think this house is going to be messed up. So that's the way they do it to keep from having to entertain? Sister makes seven and her two sons make nine and two grandkids make eleven and two daughter-in-laws make thirteen. Then John has two sons and two daughters-in-law and one daughter (I'm losing count) and six grandchildren which probably won't come from where they live and then two great grandkids. John's house is very small and the seating limited. He lives in a fantasy world, the good fairy will take care of everything. Yep I think someone hit me on the head and I see why they all like to come here. Somehow I see the crumbs on the floor in front of the couch and the coffee table covered with stuff that doesn't belong there. Hummm

Get crackin'....TONS of company comin' your way. I'm sure it'll all be just fine tho. Enjoy.
GOOD LUCK. Some people underestimate how hard it is to pull off a gathering of that size.
Because Paula, you are so sweet and cater to every whim. I doubt you cater to every whim. Any more if anyone want's to stay here I tell them i DON'T have room, and a motel is about a block or 2 straight down the street.
Hahahaa but you are so easy, and cook so well, and besides it is............................ your time? YEAH RIGHT!!!
But you could say it is something like gettin hit with the hammer, it will feel so good when it is over and quits hurting!!!! Git 'em cowgirl!!!
Love ya, Patience!!!! NOW!
ha ha. invasion of the company/relatives. good luck!
Oh wow this sounds like it's gonna be a full house!! May I join?
Maybe you should suggest having it at the fixer upper house, lol.
What is it that the Dowager Countess says..."No guest should be admitted without the date of their departure settled". Entertaining post you have here. Had me giggling as I lost count with you! Aloha
sounds like a 'Dutch-treat' night at the local cafe'
Have fun in spite of all of the shenanigans...ain't it something how a half dozen can roll into dozens!
That's a lot of work for you. Put that cowboy boot down, girl!
Don't clean before they come....they won't be able to see the floor or furniture anyway. As they walk in, hand them a rag, a broom and a dustpan and tell them all to clean up after themselves. You and John will be at the Holiday Inn after eating at Lubys.
Seriously, when my brother and all his clan come down, I always ask my 79 year old mother why in the world she cleans before they come. They don't look to see how clean anything is, and with all those people, it's a mess when they leave. I tell her she should tell them they are taking her out to eat!
I used to love large gatherings Paula, but the older we get the harder it hits us.Good luck,I think the most company I ever had, in my small house yrs ago was 24 LOL!!The staircase made a great seating area haaaaaaa.Take Care God Bless Kath xx
Not a fun time the way it sounds.
YeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaa! Sounds like a hootinannie is in your future. Grin and bear it time:)
