Easter Came Early

I don't need a basket with dyed eggs or a new Easter Bonnet. All I need is a cotton tail or two or three. This morning we were at the ranch early as in when smart people are still sleeping. I tried to make a video of John burning pear and cows eating. It didn't take, maybe my I-pad needed charging. I did make a video one time. It was of a tree. The tree didn't move but the camera did. Actually it was an accident, I pushed the wrong button. When John finished his work and we came by the grain tank I hopped out to put out some rabbit pellets under an old water tank on a little clean spot on the cement. As I walked away I saw a rabbit move. I stopped and started talking baby talk to it. It didn't run a way, just twitched it's nose. When I started easing toward the truck it started easing toward where the food was. I actually got to see a rabbit eat the food I brought and then to my amazement another came under the fence and started eating too. What an Easter present! John had a low tire on the truck so we drove about a mile into Charlotte to the tire shop. They didn't find one leak, they found nine. Good for mesquite bushes, they did their job.

Those bunnies know it's you feeding them:) I have a few around here too that will take off like lightning when anyone else is around; but I can walk right up to them.

You gotta love a person who is easy to please. I asked Sherry if she wanted an Easter basket while we were at Wal mart and she passed on the opportunity also. BUT she didn't get a bunny!! Smile.

My grandson brought his bike out from Utah once. I checked his tires and they were like pincushions from the desert and field riding.

That wild country running is tough on tires....
