Except we are starting to need rain badly. There was a hot dry wind blowing the sand today. When it's like this we have whirl winds (look like mini tornados). Not fun to get that gritty sand in your eyes. The cow with the hurt leg is doing fine in her very own apartment ( I call it her apartment) with a big round bale of hay all to herself. Water served to her on a silver platter (not quite, but she doesn't have to walk for it), her calf near. What else could a lady cow want? Don't think her baby is as happy penned up. The other calves come up to the gate and seem to be asking him to come out to play.

i know she'd rather be with the herd. i hope she can heal well.
we need rain here, too. all of a sudden, the lawn is drying up.
Glad Mz Cow is doing okay - must be cute to watch the calves and the little loner. Probably some curiosity going on there.
Hope your injured cows heals quick and well - plenty of rain I could send your way, except I'm a bit far off for that, I think
Hope this cow heals soon so she and her calf can join their friends. In the meantime, she does seem to have it made, except for the injury.
I bet the others ARE wanting to have the calf come out and play.
I know just what you mean about the hot, dry winds. Here too.
Hopefully she continues to heal and will soon be able to re-join her family. And I hope you get some much-needed rain soon!
I hope it turns out to be a good year for rain. I hope Ms Cow knows how well she has it in her apartment. Have a great week! Sheila
This is a SWEET one. "Can you come out and play?"
Your imagination is what makes you Paula, yep, everyone loves your active imagination...
Love from North CArolina
I hope momma cow will be doing well again soon so they both can join the rest of the family :)
