What Would You Think?

If you were on the ground on your back with your eyes closed and when you opened them this bull was standing over you, what would you think? What would you think is going through this bull's mind? If John gets really tired when working at the ranch he will lay down on the ground. He told me this happened to him yesterday. The cows were not close and he felt weak so he rested there on the ground with his eyes closed. When he opened them Big Boy was standing over him. John said he yelled at him and he went away. I say he was checking to see if John was okay. I'm not afraid of him. John says he was thinking aren't you going to burn some more pear for us? Big Boy was born on the ranch and never lived anywhere else. I can walk near him and not be afraid but John forbids me to hand feed him because if bulls are used to eating out of your hand and then one time you don't happen to have any cubes or feed they can get aggressive. Maybe not because they intend to but in trying to get the feed they are used to getting from you they may push or shove and hurt you. So far John is keeping him and the younger bull that went for his manhood test last week and passed with flying colors. The younger bull still knows who is higher in the pecking order so there are no bull fights as of yet. If attitudes change John will have to sell one and it remains to be seen which one and I would bet on Big Boy going.
