Just A Tailgate Breakfast

We stopped at Chile Bandera for potato and egg breakfast tacos and coffee. We saved them for a tailgate breakfast while we were waiting for the water tank for the house water to fill. we parked on the stock tank dam to watch the ducks. The boat has been moved again and for the life of me I can't figure how they are moving it. There are no oars or out board motors in sight. You don't think they have trained the cows to push them around? No couldn't be. The cows were scattered all over hell and half of Georgia. That was a saying I use to hear but not from my Mama and Daddy. They didn't use that h word. Reminds me when I was a little girl two ladies were discussing a young man who hotrodded around town. I piped up and said yeah he drove by our house driving like a bat in hades. They laughed so hard knowing I didn't have any idea what I was saying. Oh back to the cows. We drove around some and they are holding up well. John kept up a constant conversation with himself about buying more cows or not buying more cows. He finally stopped and yelled to the little herd of cows in the field. EL TORO. The large bull looked up and then he yelled what ever the spanish word for little is and toro. The little bull (Jr.) just kept eating and wouldn't look up. John said that does it we gotta sell him.

WEll, Well I see you have remodeled again. Looks good. I love the entry, I have heard the statement, guess everyone has. I never heard it from my mama or daddy either. HA! I figured you guys would have said something like "over hell and half of Texas!" You have a way with descriptions and words. I assume that is the name of a cafe, vs the town of BAndera.
I enjoyed our walk around Bandera and the little museum they have there. Funny isn't it, we will drive out of our way for a small museum and will not take the time to go to the wonderful museums not ten miles from our home, go figure.

I am hungry. I should have gotten up earlier and came for you tail gate! My mom and dad did not curse that much when I was growing up, but I can remember my girlfriends mom use to say "Jesus Christ" all the time. One time my girlfriend pipped up and said "and Jesus were a family" Her mother stop saying those words.

I believe anything and I bet the cows moved
the boat. If I use the Hell word I get stares.
Everybodies blog looks so pretty and I am lucky to find mine. I read your comments on
Jack's Blog. You know that is my brother, pray
for me. I don't know what I am doing, where I am and where I am going to end up. This blogging is a trip. Sometime is makes me need an attitude adjustment. I have use some

My grandmother always said "all over hell and half of Georgia," I thought that was a Tennessee saying! Did you ever hear of something being tighter than Dick's hat band? My grandmother always said that one and when I said it at the dentist recently he laughed and said I needed to look up where that one originated. Nannie wouldn't have said it had she known!

Looking good here in TX...all green and spiffy. Nice job. Can't picture that breakfast but it must be good or you wouldn't eat it. lol. You know John's not getting rid of the cows. He's just run out of conversation to himself.

This is more better reading. Taco breakfast? You sound like my Brother. For my taste a truely Mexican meal must be eatened in a Mexican or Chicano kitchen. Mmmm Good eating with pinched pieces tortillas to keep your fingers clean. Now, that's some belly filling good eating.
I like your recipe for kitchen skating. One bottle Windex thoroughly spilled by one husband John, then also thoroughly spread about by john wit out ringing the mop.
Ohhhh Lawd! Give my abbs the strength to endure the pained visual John’s squeaky window waxed floor. ROFLMAO
OMG! I’m so glad to look in and see you’ve painted the walls a lighter color. What a pleasant change. I’ve no need for a flashlight to read my wrist sundial in the dark. Nice improvement!
One more thing, a request really. Where’d you ever find those sexy pictures of such darling cows? I like’em.

Your "hell and part of Georgia" reminded me of my father (who was born in Alabama).

When he would hear a lame excuse from "someone" about being unable to finish "someone's" homework due to circumstances beyond that "someone's" control, he would say to that certain "someone", "I don't care if it hairlip's Georgia, you can't go play until you finish your homework!"

It never made sense to me.

It sounds like a tasty breakfast to me and how enjoyable to make it a tailgate breakfast. You are my kind of gal!

Let the story of the little bull be a lesson to you, if you don't answer John he may try to sell you. LOL

yum I'd love that for breakfast! rose

So if the bull doesnt answer him he has to go??? LOL! Maybe the cows are using the boat when no one is looking to toodle around there. ;) I see I have been missing out, and there is a story to being told above here, so I better catch up. Hugs, Kelly
