Do You Think I'm Adopted?

John plays dominoes on Thursdays from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. so I can do what ever I want to. I wanted to go to the strawberry city to get my hair trimmed. I've told you about my cow lick andhow if it isn't cut correctly it stands up like Alph, well you know who I mean. I told the operator I was thinking of spiking my hair then the cow lick would be right in place. She must have taken me at my word 'cause she cut it short. Maybe I'll get some of that gel stuff and try it. I always like to try everything once. It must have affected my brain because I came home and moved all the furniture in the living room out into the middle of the floor. I learned a long time ago how to move furniture alone without hurting my back. If the floor is not carpeted you gently lift one end and take your toe and ease a throw rug under then do the same thing on the other end. Push and pull just a little at a time as you bend over at just the right angle. Make sure you have plenty of time so you can take lots of breaks. Lay on the couch and prop your feet on the back. Every other time you may want to go to the bedroom and lay on a heating pad for twenty minutes. If the floor is carpeted you have to move the furniture out on one end verrry slowly and then go to the other end and do the same. Keep switching ends with breaks in between until you get the furniture where you want it. My daughters say they think I'm adopted because I'm so different from my siblings. I would never tell them I have an online journal. I doubt if they know what a blog is. They would be so embarrased to know the stuff I write here. Anyway I even went to Wal*Mart and found a yard of material in a mauve color with pigs all over it. Ah ha! The little round table with the lamp has a white cloth and it gets dirty so quick with John's toothpicks, candy wrappers, little notes, etc. so I put the little piggy cloth over the white one and put all his little junk in a box down low on a stool by his chair where it doesn't show so much. Now John doesn't like change so I knew better then to do this rearranging when he was home. I had just finished when I heard his truck drive up so I disappeared into the kitchen. As I heard him come in the door I heard him say OH S---.

Do you know how they made the pyramids? They used cardboard. You can move a ten ton block of granite using cardboard. Insted of the throw rug put a piece of cardboard under the furniture and move as you suggested above. It works every time. Glad you like the new do, and spike away.

LOL Your girls don't know what they're missing reading your blog. Laughing my head off. PLEASE show us a picture of your new gel-spiked style. John's table with all his goodies reminds me of Larry's spot when he was here (he didn't live here). He had the same things going on and once when I moved the couch part where he sat there must have been twenty toothpicks that had fallen through the side!! Don't miss that either!!! :).......

Last time the girl cut my hair shorter and I liked it. My hair grows soooo fast! My hair is thick and it does not do good when left long on top.. too heavy. Maybe you will like the cut better after a while because easy to fix.. just run your finger through your hair. lol Gary thinks I am nuts for having a journal and visiting w/people I don't know. lol Hope Gary never finds my journal on line. hehe You should see Gary's end table by his recliner!! Ugh! I have gotten to where I don't even touch it any more except to use a feather duster around what little edges there is left. If he can live with it... then so be it! Have a good day and try to stay out of trouble. haha Janie

Don't feel like the lone ranger Jack said a
beautiful Stork brought him and a Turkey dropped me in. I just moved furniture this
morning and turned my mattress around. I like you know how to do it. We may be related.

I can't wait to see you with spiked hair! You have to get a photo for us!!
I don't think you're adopted, there's always one sibling that acts totally different than the rest (they are usually the fun one of the family :-)
Have a great weekend Paula!

i can't move the big stuff at all any more--but sometimes take all the junk at hubby's end table, put it in a plastic bag and put it in his chair. right now the whole house is a disaster with all his hunting stuff piled all over "until he puts it away" hah!
