Would you like to wake up to this face every morning? Not me, not my bedroom, not my wall hanging. The entry is about the cat though. Mickey is in need of prayers if you believe in praying for pets. My daughter's house had a leak in the wall in one of their bathrooms. Son-in-law worked trying to fix it. In and out with the garage door open. When he was finished he pushed the button to close the garage door. He heard Mickey cry, jump, and run off. He had been sleeping on top of the folded back garage door which he had never done before. The next morning he didn't show up to eat. Mickey is an in and out cat, do as he pleases cat. They went looking and found him hiding in the shed which also has a pet door. He could hardly walk. Off to the vet he went for an over night stay. Long story short when he came home the vet wanted him to stay in a cage for a few days and not be active. To put it mildly Mickey was not a happy camper. He was turning over his food, water and litter and mixing them all together. He was pissed, so while my daughter went to Wal*Mart to try to find feeder and waterers to fit on the side of the cage like for birds the cat was driving my son-in-law crazy. He took everything out of the guest bedroom and gave Mickey his own room. Now that is a good way to keep his mother-in-law (me) from visiting. Mickey is still hurt and still not happy.

oh poor kitty!
The poor cat. I'll keep Mickey in my prayers.
Cats will do anything to get mother-in-laws room! Never heard of the one on top of the door. Must have caught it's leg between the sections, OUCH! I've done it to a finger. Our only problem has been the cat getting on the warm engine and sleeping years ago. Hopefully Mickey will be well. I too will say a prayer for the cat. When I was a boy I prayed for my dog, even after he died.
I've noticed most cats, when they get sick or hurt, retreat as far from everybody as possible. Opposite of dogs, who want their people to fix things, and hang around when they don't feel well.
Paula poor little Kitty ~ of course I will say a prayer for him ~ Ally x
poor cat, prayers are up for kitty
Poor Kitty! Prayers on the way. And no, I definitely wouldn't want to wake up to that scary face looking at me in the morning - although I'd probably never sleep to begin with if that was on my wall, eeeek!
You know I pray for pets and poor Mickey is in my prayers. Bless his little heart.
Hugs, Joyce
That had to hurt but I bet he will be good to go in no time. I notice that he's not looking at the wall thing :).....
Aww that's horrible! That poor kitty. It sounds like he's going to be okay though right?
The mother-in-law comment was too funny Paula.

I will ask God to give Mickey an attitude
adjustment. My neighbors cats are always
coming down to my property. I am going to
put a sign at my driveway (CAT CROSSING).
Mickey looks like he has the good life. I hope Mickey enjoys the picture.

That is some wall hanging even if it is not yours! I thought that does not look like Paula! Somehow. Oh, I forgot to say I loved that cactus bloom. Gerry
I read the whole entry but I am still trying to grasp the idea in the first sentence about waking up to king tut everyday. LOL you are right, I don't think I could wake up to him either LOL LOL LOL. He is very nice and interesting and regal to look at but not to wake up to. LOL

POOR MICKEY. i hope he will be fine. i had a cat once that liked to scale the garage door frame and climb into the light fixture above the control box. never did figure out how he got up there and how he never got electrocuted.
