Computer Sitter Needed

We were out tonight for a few hours which was fun but when we returned home and I turned my computer on I had about 28 e-mails, lots of blogs to read not to mention the comments on my last entry and I didn't even start working on my badges for this week.. When I miss one night on the computer I fall behind so I'm thinking of hiring a computer sitter. She/he could sit here and read and respond accordingly. Lets just say my sister sent five forwards which have been around that many times the sitter could reply to fit as in how cute or thats so funny and my sister wouldn't be the wiser. If someone had an emergency that I would want to know about the sitter could post a note to the bulletin board over my desk. If the sitter finished all the computer chores then she/he could play games and work on my badges for me. There could be little extra chores like dusting off the computer desk. Heck maybe it wouldn't be long I would have free time to clean house again

Sounds good. I have a blogger friend that sends me several forwards all the time. I just open most of them up and delete without reading. I do not feel like wasting my sitting time to read forwards since my back hurts so bad. I only send a forward if I really like one and it is good. Helen

So true about those forwards! Cliff has a cousin, Edna, who sends me so many I've seen before. However, once in a blue moon she'll send a GREAT one, so I peek at them all and delete if I've seen them.

These blogs will keep a person occupied, that's for sure.

Please Paula, if you get some free time don't waste it by cleaning the house. I admit it, unless it is from someone I really like, I delete forwards. ~Mary

That would be a great job! I know how you feel If I ignore my emails and blogs for the weekend I have over two hours worth of reading to get caught up!

Hi Paula. lol Yeah, we do get lots of forwards and I can usually tell at a glance if I've read it before. I think I'd rather hire someone to clean the house while I play on the puter :)........

I rarely if ever read forwards. The thing is sooner of later someone will post the forward on a blog somewhere. I'm not missing anything. Love the idea of a computer sitter. I'm a little stretched thin these days with post from here, over there and guesting there. I still enjoy it though. I agree with Mary free time should be spent of something other than cleaning house. That's too much like work. (Hugs)Indigo

Sounds good. I might actually get the house clean. On the other hand maybe a housekeeper would be better...

I only forward if they are funny and to my friend that matches their personally. You are
right they can be a pain. You get on a list
and they just click send to all and here they
come. The computer take a lot of time.
--- but it is also fun.

A computer sitter, now thats an idea! Thats what I need, cause I am never caught up, I am always behind. I have given up and just tried to keep a steady pace. ;)

The problem with deleting unread emails is the chance of missing a really good one.

I used to pass an apartment window years ago when returning from AREA 51 and there was always a woman sitting in front of a computer.

Now that I've been online for a while, I understand. It becomes addictive.

This was a cute entry but it rang all too true Paula. It's so hard to keep up that sometimes it's just a chore. I have started being a little less vigilent so you will notice that I only read blogs about 3 times a week. I hope you are checking back. lol.

The computer sitter is a great idea! I especially like the part about leaving messages for you if it is an emergency. What are the badges you are working on? I do hope you will tell us. Sounds intriguing and fun.
