Guess What I Got To Do Today?

I was so thrilled when I learned John's cows needed sweetlix and oh boy did they need it. Every tub was licked clean and all their hay had vanished. There is this tiny conversation going on in the back of my mind. I'm going to bombard the older lady clerk at On The Farm with questions. Not going to tell John ahead of time. If I just blurt it out how can he stop me? Well wouldn't you know it, she was not there. The clerk was a younger woman we had never seen and there was an old cowboy perched on a stool at the counter drinking coffee and chatting with her. I couldn't have gotten a question in edgewise. So we get our tubs and head down the highway. John sees that I am half way hanging out the window trying to take in as much as I can in passing you know what---the four posts, columns, or what ever. John speaks up and says would you like me to pull over? Do birds fly? He pulled into the roadside park. We walk through sand and grass burrs to the fence to get as near as we can to the only set of four posts (and I use that word losely) slightly close to the highway. Yes I took pictures but I won't have them until I don't know when and I don't know how they will turn out. Remember I'm not a photographer, I'm a writer. I wish! Closer I can see that one of the post is larger then the other three. I can see that there is something like cable sticking out of the tops that makes me think they intend to put tops on. I'm thinking the round open thing I spotted last time. Anway the third building they had started is made of cement blocks and it isn't much farther along. I studied the other two buildings closer and they do not look like homes, they look like a school or some kind of institution. They have plowed up and made a large field in front of the buildings and have an irrigation system now. The mystery isn't solved yet but I'm working on it.

Paula I cannot believe you missed another opportunity to find out. I think they started
some kind of building and ran out of money.
We have got to get Jack and Sherry on the road
toward that way. They are adventurous people. They can pick you up and you can lead the way.
Please, Please, Please find out soon. I don't
want you to get hurt hanging out the car window. You know how curiosity killed the cat.
Now what is sweetlix? Is this for the cows nutrition or dessert? I hope Jack doesn't read
this because I am asking questions again.

Okay I rekon you know you have stirred up a hornet's nest, we all are about to drive down for dinner with you and John and go look at the columns. Shirl doesn't know I already ax'd the question she ax'd. I was shocked y'all thought enough of your cows to giv'em Molasses. Lucy up in NE will think you are torturing the cows by feeding molasses to them. LOL Jack
Good entry.
