I borrowed this little Teddy from Carlene's journal some time ago.
I love my teddy bear, my pal, my friend. He has tiny holes which I should mend.
His eyes are buttons with small black centers, my teddy gives me comfort in the dead of winter.
He has fur for skin and his color is brown, his tummy looks like a little round mound.
Teddy is filled with a saw dust filling. You could peek through the holes if you are willing.
His ears sit with a slight odd tilt, the tips look as if they are about to wilt.
Teddy is loyal and always there. It matters not to me that he is only a bear.
He makes me sneeze but he is soft to the touch, always available for me to clutch.

I think there is something about Teddy Bear's that appeal to all of us. I have a TB collection, and am always looking to add to it. Yet, if asked why I love them, I couldn't say....I just do.
So cute. My 7 yr. old grandson has a teddy named Mr.Puddy that he has had since he was about 3 yrs. old. I couldn't tell you how many times I've sewn on Mr. Puddy. The last couple of years he has made me promise not to tell anyone he has a Teddy. LOL.
Hugs, Joyce
This brings back memories of my first teddy bear. I did love that bear so much. She had red ears with little tiny white polka dots and how I cried when my mother gave that bear to the church. I was not very willing to part with that bear and she didn't ask me if I wanted to part with it yet. Growing up is hard to do sometimes. I think a part of me still misses that first bear.
