Sometime It Sucks To Be A Woman

Here I sit with four screw drivers, (of different sizes) one phillips screw driver, (at least I know the difference) one pair of tweezers, one pair of needle nose pliers, one table knife, and one steak knife. What am I trying to do? I'm trying to open one little battery door on my police scanner. I haven't listened to my scanner in some time and when I decided to, it started making a tiny beeping sound with a tiny flashing light. Took me a while to remember what it was trying to tell me. Then the operation started. Why all this trouble opening one little door? I've done this before. I'm the one who closed it last time the battery needed changing. I had to go rest between trying each tool. John can't see those tiny things but I was saying some not so nice words so he decided to get up to look in his tool box. I was screaming where are all those shiny pliers you used to have. Not a pair could he find so he came in with the needle nose pliers and I was able to open it with those finally. Lucky I had found the proper battery in the junk drawer. I'm grouchy I bent over to pick up one of those big tins that people give you at Christmas time full of popcorn. You know when they don't know what else to give you? I have found what they are good for. They are perfect to store bird seed in. That was a mistake to pick that up. Pain across my lower back. The birds are fed and I'm listening to my scanner and realizing there are people going to the hospital who are worse off then me. Namely a young girl's horse was spooked and she fell off causing a bad gnash in her head with lots of bleeding. Pray she is okay.

LOL, working with those kinds of things can frustrate even the most patient person. Glad you are listening again anyway. I hope your back feels better soon. I unloaded 700 pounds of bedding & cat litter yesterday (no one else was around to help) and I can barely move today so I am feeling your pain....literally.

You aren't talking about your granddaughter with the horse are you? I hope the dear girl gets better soon, will keep her in good thoughts & Prayer.

I have no doubt after a few bad words you can get about anything fixed. I hate to be down, it is frustrating. Not sick but not on top. Just BLAH. But you are right there are a lot worse cases out there. Glad you got the scanner going. I'd hate to think of you down there still saying bad words.

Four orange juice's and vodka's should-a had you on your way ta feeling good ta nothing. I've heard and understand they may be made in different sizes. But what I want to know is, How'd you put a Phillips head on one of them? Didn't Phillip object?
Hope your back feeling good again reel soon.

And another thing....
Herr Clink's complaining, "Where's my pliers?"
While she hasn't gotten to useing any un-lady like words, I always found her ultra shinny pliers easy to find. I can't help she can't keep track her t00ls?
From my observation her drawers have just plainly gotten fuller.

I have the same tools, but I have added the hammer in case I get to frustrated and decide
to give it a wrack. I use the same tools to work on computers. I use to have a police
scanner until they changed the system. Glad you got it working. Your determination helps.

I pray the young girl will be OK and the gash
will heal without a lot of pain.

Glad that you got the battery changed. I pray that the girl will be ok and that your back gets better soon. It doesn't take much to do a back in. I am still down with mine. Helen

You need your own toolkit! That way you will always have the proper tool for the job and you will know where to find it. If your not like me...and leave your tools out from the kit...til it comes time to use that screwdriver again, and its my own fault I am rummaging through Ians toolbox for one, because I cant remember what I did with mine! LOL! ;) Hugs, Kelly
