Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Guess What?
Get your party napkins ready Shirl its gonna be a double shower. Girlfriend cow had a baby too. She brought it up right away with the herd and left her friend in the back 40 with her baby. John wasn't expecting this baby for a month or two yet according to the markings from the auction. The baby boy was tiny so thats probably why they misjudged. The sun was shining pretty this afternoon but too windy to sit out. I wanted some sun so we drove to see if we could find the baby. We found the mama but the calf was still in hiding but we found it. It stood up but ducked right back down into the tall dead grass. We still don't know if it is a boy or a girl. Don't know why the mama is so hesitant to bring it up. Hope she does soon as it is in a place where wild hogs could come in. Thank you for the well wishes. I did go to the nurse at my doctor's office and have three meds. The cough medicine that works she tells me not to take and the one she prescribed doesn't do much good.

What does one buy for a baby cow shower?
Hope you get a glimpse of the new baby soon. Or rather a good long look.
Why is it doctors seem to not listen to us much any more? Mine, I tell her my ears hurt...she says they look fine. I tell her a certain shot works on my allergies...she says I don't give that.
Hope you get well and feel better despite your doctor. ;o)
Get well soon Paula, looking forward to reading more with pics added when you are able.Take Care God Bless Kath xx
I hope the hogs don't get the calf :(
I'm trying to think up baby cow shower gifts
:-) All of the birthing and rearing & cow frolic is amazing to me, but I am sure more routine to you.
Don't take the medicine that works? Ok, I'd need a good reason from her on that.

I love baby cows! BTW - When I was stationed in San Antonio, it was for combat medic training and we didn't get out much. I liked the zoo very much and, of course the Alamao. We need more Alamo fighters on our southern border.

Congrats on the new edition!

I was thinking about the hogs with the other baby. I hope they don't find this new one. Maybe she will take it with her soon. I hope also that you feel lots better soon. Helen
Hope you feel better soon :)......
I wanna see pictures of the new additions!!
Have a good week.
This calls for a big party two babies. We need
to get busy planning the shower. I have
some of Jack's inhertance left after Terri's
and my shopping spree. I will start shopping
tomorrow for gifts. I need for the mother to
show the other baby so we will know to buy
for a girl or boy. I bet they are cute. We
will need to have some baby pictures made.
Tell the mothers congratulations.
Shirl
Talked with Terri and we do have a little money left. We need to know the size and the other baby's gender.

The herb, Fennel, help you cough, spit up the bad phlegm so you don't 'recycle it.' I am an herbalist, but even I had that same Flu for 2 darn weeks! I hardly ever get sick.
Hope you get better soon.

It is not good to stop the cough. You need to get that stuff out otherwise you will stay sick longer. Coughing it out is nature's way of getting rid of the crud. I do hope you feel better soon. Oh and congrats on the babies.
Oh 2 baby cows! Post pictures if you can :) I sure hope those meds work and you feel better. That is funny the 2 pregnant cows became friends. Hope your day is good.
Congratulations on the baby cows, friend! hope you're doing better!
Awwwww...the baby sounds sweet!! I hope mama gets baby moved soon.
