Spring In South Texas

My good friend in west Texas sent me some pictures someone took while walking in south Texas. Rattlesnakes seemingly in love. Good reminder its that time of year. Watch where you step or put your hands when you reach down into grass, trash etc.

I am scared of snakes I don't care if that are
black, purple or poka dot. They look better
dead. We have snakes in the city. When I see them they meet with death. Thanks for the warning.

One day I do want to eat one, Don't want to meet it first though. Tell me where the road is, I don't want to go there. hahahahah!
Jack. Once my dad ran over a rattler in eastern NC. got out threw it in the trunk of the '47 chevy and went to a friends house. Opend the trunk to show him, and out it came into the bushes. Friend did not appreciate dad delivering it. I was five or six years old. Too little to be scared, always wondered did Dad mess his pants. hahaah!

We have snakes here, But they are up in the mountains. What I do have is a graveyard of little critters. The cats bring home their catch and have now made a pile of them in our front yard. I will have to have the boys clean that up.

I just hate snakes. They scare me to death. I love to hike, but when it starts getting warmer, I avoid the areas where the rattlesnakes might be hiding.

I know we have those around here, along with some other vipers, but I have been lucky enough to not run up on any, and I hope my luck continues to be good! :)
