An Orginal Sign

This was an orginal sign the owner of the farm house used. I don't know what year she sold her hens for a dollar. I found two signs in the old house and wanted them to put on my back fence but John said no they belong to the land owner so I left them. When we had to go into the newer farm house that John rents out there were both the signs displayed on the kitchen wall. Young renter lady taken a liking to them too and took them without asking to hang on the kitchen wall. I'm sure she thought as I did they were just old junk thrown in with other junk and no one wanted them. The land owner probably doesn't even know they were in there or he would have wanted to keep them. When we lived out there I found an old wheel barrow in the pig barn so I ask him if I could put it in the front yard and plant some flowers in it. He said no I used that to haul wood when I was a kid so I respected him and didn't use it. A few weeks later he came and took it home. There was another sign I contemplated taking that was left from a renter. It was outside with Mac's Hambugers written on it. John had found out this particular renter was taking orders for hamburgers from people in town, his wife was making them there in the farm house, and he was delivering them. That sign disappeared too. Do we live in a crazy county or what?
