Mrs. B. didn't make the prettiest signs in the world but she knew how to raise chickens and sell those eggs. John tells me when her husband came in from the field for lunch she would grease whatever needed greasing on the tractor while he took a nap before returning to the field. This is just a test. Yes you passed and I hope I did too.

I don't know how many times I've tried roll reversals with with her princesship to only get back, "What do you think I got you for?"
When I was young my dad use to buy fresh eggs off the local farmer and corn also!
Do fresh eggs taste better than store bought ones? I never had a fresh egg.
Not a good example Mrs B was setting for the rest of the female race. Are you sure John wasn't just testing you to get a reaction! Not sure what kind of test that was but glad I passed :)
You passed the test, I like the signs, the point is to let folks know what is available and it worked.
She must have been some lady to grease while hubby napped.

What a cute story. The sign reminds me of a lady up the road from us. She has one that looks so much like that one, except it's on cardboard and she covers it with a garbage bag when it rains.
When I lived in the country (not that long ago) I had a neighbor who used to trade me fresh eggs for some of my garden vegies. AND that's what I love about the South.

Oh that is a great idea... I wish we had our own fresh eggs here.
