New Kitties

Two little kittens took up residence on my front porch. When I step out one runs away and the other just stays in it's spot and ignores me. I talk to it and it doesn't even look up. I'm thinking it is blind or mentally challenged. I think they really belong to the neighbors, they have lots of cats. The mamas seem to have adopted my house to be their nursery. I see kittens and then they are gone. It is quiet at my house and they feel safe I guess. They can give birth under my storage shed, they can hide in my Lantana, they can sleep on the cushion on my chair and it is all free. There is water in my birdbath. I even gave up and took cat food to them yesterday. Please don't tell Susie. She has been cat queen here for several years. I do think they will go home to the neighbors when the mama feels they can hold their own with the group.

That is so nice that you are kind to them. In answer to your comment on my blog, my husband is younger but that was not always a good thing cause I sometimes had a hard time keeping up with him, but not anymore. Now the young installer would have came in handy but young men as young as he is would eat me out of the house and home!! lol

Oh you are a sweetie! I'm happy to hear they have luxuries at your place, Bless your heart for being so kind to them. I won't tell Susie, I know how tempermental the queens of the house can be ;)

WEll I lost that one and did not keep a copy so we are back. Huh uh, you are not the mother of new kittens. Fed them huh? like rubbing a dog behind the ears, got a job for life.
Susie is gonna know pretty soon! Then watch out.
Like the tale from TExas.

Well, once you feed them, they are "yours". Our neighbor's cat started visiting us because they are gon all the time. We felt sorry for him because he was hungry so we fed him. Now I think he belongs to us more than he does them because he spends most of his time at our house. But we love him and his visits.
