Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Vows Unbroken
I don't need any more cows. Its too dry and hot. I would have to water and feed them. I don't need any more cows etc. etc. ( I read in a blog where a lady was making fun over someone using etc. in a blog, Ha) John came home from the auction to say I bought some cows. Are you surprised? Of course not Mr. Wishy Washy, how many did you buy? One pair and two bred cows. If he keeps buying cattle he is going to have to have his big truck repaired and get it licenced again and get his big cattle trailer back from his son. Off we go to get someone to haul the new kids (cows) on the block to their new home. The nice Alabama cowboy isn't working now after back surgery so he was willing. We hit it lucky and didn't have to wait in a hot long line at the auction barn. There was only one trailer ahead of us so that was good. When we got back to Alabama cowboy's house John paid him and we headed back home. Tomorrow we will go out to check to see if the new cows have located and make sure they have plenty of water and food in the pens. My question to John was why did you buy more cows? The price was reasonable and he needs more cows on his daughter's place as she sold some of hers. He likes to have one cow to every ten or eleven acres and you don't count the bulls. I'll get a better look at them in the morning hopefully as I stayed in the cowboy's air conditioned truck while they were unloading.

You are one sensible lady to be in the A/C truck while they unloaded. Of course being a farm e had just maybe 8 cows and the dreaded bull. I think what I remember most was always trying to milk a cow . I may have got one drop. That was one thing I never could figure out how to manipulate.
I think it's an addiction for him! He's a cowoholic! ;-)
I thought he was suppose to retire last year?
oh boy!
Exactly how many cows do you have? Since I do not live in the Country when ever go visiting Dave's Dad who does live kind of in a country setting I always get excited when I see cows and horses.
I thought he was getting out of the cow business!! Well, they are there now so you might as well enjoy them.
Thanks for the compliment on my picture.
Does your husband and my husband know each other? Just the other day Rusty came home with another shot gun! For what? We must have 12 in the safe, and we have not even fired them. I feel ya!
