Faces You Can Love

We've been going out to check the farm house late every afternoon. The renter girl is moving very slowly. We can understand as she has a full time job working in a dentist office and she is devastated over the break-up. What a mess they were living in. I always told John (seems I'm always telling him something, doesn't it?) When you are the landlord and the tenant meets you outside and then doesn't invite you in. Oh well! So I get to feed the turtles more often. Can you love turtles? They are sooo cute. I even see one that stays clean, no mucky green on its back so I can see how they are marked and they are really kind of pretty. There were three young ones yesterday and I think they are bringing more and more relatives. The one that bites on my shoe ornaments came up and bit the little red heart and then turned and ran for the water. At least as fast as a turtle can run. It thought it had something to eat and for some reason they always want to run to the water with their food. I wonder how long it took for it to realize it didn't have any food in its mouth. The cows are doing well as everything is nice and green from the recent rains. It is still hot and sunny to make the grass grow.

I hope she cleans that place up good. Most don't though. LOL on the turtle thinking it had something off your shoe. Helen

Sounds like you and the turtles are getting along well. I have never really thought much about turtles. They apparently can interact.

We tend to think of a break up. You mentioned it, folks are devastated on breakup. Some of the worst hurts in the world.
Don't lose a toe. Take care and keep feeding you may raise some for 'turtle soup,' Oh that right you don't eat turtle soup!
Take care, hope the place is sorta cleaned.

I read that and it doesn't make any sense. should read, We tend to think of a breakup, not the individuals involved. Oh well, I meant well.

On my walk early mornings a deer cross the road
in front of us and headed for the woods. That
funny when you said turtles ran back to the water and corrected it as fast as they could.
The one I helped across the street was going
faster than I had seen in the past. His little
legs were just trucking.

Hi Paula,

Those turtles are so funny! I wish your renter girl peace and good things for her future I am sure this time is very painful for her.
