Jack and Jill Can Almost Walk Up The Hill

We went to the farm house yesterday to see what had been done. Ex-renter girl had called and ask if it would be okay for her male counterpart to be out there helping clean up the place. John had told him he wasn't welcome out there until he paid the electric bill but John changed his mind when he heard the words "clean up". Ha they did sweep all the paper and trash into two corners. They were some heap big heaps too. We brought some in to put into our garbage cans and today John went out and burned some paper and cardboard. The burn ban has just been lifted in our county just in time. Yesterday when I went out to the stock tank there was a cow standing in the water where the turtles hang out to wait for me. She got out of the water and stood close to me watching me feed. I wonder what she was thinking. After lunch today we went back out the check to make sure the fire was out where he burned the paper. No matter what time of day I go the turtles are under the tree in the water waiting. After I finished all the food and started walking to the truck on the dam three of the turtles started following me up the side of the dam. They went about half way up right on my heels and it was getting steep and rough so they turned and went back to the water. I was starting to feel like the pied piper.

That is so sweet turtles following you. I would
love to see that. I thought turtles lived in their own world and don't pay attention to humans. You are supplying meals on wheels
"cute". You have them spoiled.

Yep, you have spoiled Turtle out there. Hey glad to hear the place was getting 'cleaned'. funny what some folk call cleaning. HUH?
It is good to hear you all have had enough rain to lift the burn ban.

IF them suckers start followning the truck, you are in trouble..

The Pied piper of the turtles, well, I think the best way to get to be a pied piper of any animal is to feed them. I never had anything to do with turtles in the wilds so I am quite fascinated.
