A Pitcher Full

This is a picture full of a pitcher full of a cat named Sophie. She is lucky to be there. My Mama was going to have someone to take her mama off to the other side of the Medina river. I begged her not to do that so she said she wouldn't if I would take her with me when I got married. I promised I would without asking Mel. He was overseas. I didn't really know if he liked cats or not. I found out later his Daddy didn't like cats so they had never had one. He agreed for me to take this mama with us to San Antonio to the small apartment we were going to live in. Mel liked the mama cat and the kittens she promptly give birth to. Sophie was from a litter about a year later in March 1957 the year my first daughter was born. Note the old fashioned TV in the back ground. I don't know if Sophie aspired to be a model or if I aspired for her to be a model but she did pose well.

Garnett was nice, So it is a Pitcher full of ..ccccat! Yeah I like the TV! Funny how it makes you feel good to see that isn't it?
Good story. I am not a cat lover my self, but i admire the independance of a cat.(sometimes). I prefer a dog or a turtle!
you write an interesting blog. I always like it.

COMPARE CAT AND DOG, BE GONE A DAY OR TWO AND WHEN RETURNING, THE DOG SMOTHERS US WITH LOVE.

THE CAT STROLLS BY WITH HEAD HELD HIGH, HARDLY GLANCING IN OUR DIRECTION AS IF TO SAY, I DID VERY WELL WITHOUT YOU.

SOME CATS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS. sam

We took in a stray cat and named him Cracker.
They are very independent. We lived on a busy
St. He loved to cross over to a vacant lot,
and didn't make it back home one morning.
That pitcher full of cat is cute.

If I can get the picture out of the album I will scan it and post it tomorrow but Joe was on a ladder staking it to a board. No tree trunk.
