Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.
This Way To My Blog

We went to the ranch twice today. Once early this morning and once late this afternoon. Lucky turtles got fed twice. We are having showers all around us. Not good heavy rains but it has cooled things down for us some if it just wasn't for the humidity we would be feeling fairly good. We had to make a trip to Poth for feed inbetween trips to the ranch. That place does a land office business. I don't think we have ever been there when there were not customers there waiting for the frontend loaders to load pick-ups with their choice of feed. We pulled up beside a truck with a long trailer attached. It had three compartments with animals and it was evident they had just been bought at auction. They still had their bright yellow auction tags still stuck on to the top of their body for all to see. The back compartment had two calves, the middle compartment was empty. The third compartment had several goats and one donkey. I'm not fond of goats but the largest one caught my eyes. I liked the way it was marked on it's face. It was all browns, beiges and earth tones. Now that donkey really caught my eye. It was one of the small variety and the cute thing was it matched the big goat. They probably bought the donkey to watch out for the goats. When John got back into the truck he said that man doesn't speak any English. The one standing alongside the animals in the trailer. I said well I was thinking of asking him if I could take a picture of his donkey. Do you think he would understand if I say may I takee picture of your ass? No guess not so I just kept mine in the truck.

ROFL! Your mind works the same way mine does.
lmfao, take a picture of his ass, now that's funny!
Paula, some things are waaaaay too good to keep to yourself. Whether the man understood English or not - you do. I nearly laughed mine off at your entry. When we lived in the country on the central coast our neighbors had pygmy goats and they were adorable (also messy and noisy). The old Billie doesn't smell so good though. Paulette
My big laugh for the day!
Thanks for the giggle.....i needed it today!!
Enjoy....LindaMay
You gave me a big smile to start the day. Sorry that you didn't get your picture though. Helen
ROFL...he may have understood that and mooned you! Then what would have done? (hopefully taken the picture!) I wonder why you aren't fond of goats? They are just as sweet & loving as can be. I'll have to work on changing that with you ;)

I almost forgot about the ASS JUNCTION. Glad you kept your ASS in the car. That is a good one. Trying to explain what you wanted to do would have been hilarious.

Darn, I think a goat and a donkey would make a great photo. I am kind of shy about asking people if I can take a photo, too. Especially around here. But I think the pigeons won't mind. They have no pride.
Paula..you have given me the best laugh I have had in many a day!!! thanks ever so much..you are a gem...and John is lucky to have you in his life LOLOLOL...hugs...Ora
