A Turtle Never Makes Progress Unless It Sticks It's Neck Out

When a turtle sticks it's neck out to make progress it can also get itself into heap big trouble . This picture is Lucy and she is not in trouble however a turtle of the type that I feed and claim for my own did get into trouble today. In fact he/she made the San Antonio news. The city crew of San Antonio has cameras where they can see into the sewer pipes to spot where and what a blockage is. The blockage was a turtle so they dug up and rescued the turtle. They didn't say what they were going to do with the turtle but I'll bet someone took it home. It looked to be doing fine in spite of the cameras, lights, and commotion.

Hello Lucy!!!! So that is what she looks like. Glad you got a picture, we all have been wondering.

Amazing the steps they will go to to rescue an animal. Glad they got it clear. Someone in Florida would have washed that sucker off good and cooked it, I bet. Not saying I would, I have never had turtle soup. But I sure like those turtle candies!!! Whoa!!!

Re: Jack: I Have had Snapping Turtle ...tastes like chicken...but I'd much rather watch them than eat them...however, them snappers are nasty and I would never, ever attempt to make a pet out of them.
Your lil' darlins', Paula, must be quite docile.
They come when you call and seem easy to train.
God Bless Your Heart...and a great weekend to ya

Poor turtle got into a heap of trouble. Hope someone took it somewhere to a pond or lake and turned it loose.
That Jack is so funny.

Okay, I lied. I'm sorry, Sherry is late reading blogs and while I was talking to Dar she says! "YOU have HAD turtle soup (of course I remembered real fast), A lady gave us a turtle in Cuba and I made soup, you liked it.!"
So NOW I REMEMBER I LIKED IT, BUT IT WASN'T YOUR TURTLES! AND I PROMISE NOT TO EVER DO IT AGAIN! LIE ON YOUR BLOG, THAT IS. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
(Ain't no way you can win with you women!)

Hi Paula,
I sure hope Turtle Soup isn't on the menu ... you never know what those folks who fixed the pipes might be up to ...
Best,
Marty
