His 'n Her's

You can tell I'm diggin' for an entry when I post his and her's out houses. My mind took a vacation as we haven't been on any country roads, walked in any cemetaries, or found any mysteries. We've had doctor appointments and hunting down roofing material and men to do the work. You might think people don't use these old fashioned conveniences any longer but you're wrong. If you went to a funeral in this cemetary and you had to go well--- This cemetary is in the no-where on a ranch and there is no rest rooms for miles. If you gotta have 'em you might as well dress them up. Bright white with a little lattace fence around them make them more appealing. I haven't looked inside to see if there are spiders. The care giver probably keeps them down. He keeps this cemetary neat out of the goodness of his heart and donations from families of people buried here.

I have never seen an outhouse or any other 'relief' station in a cemetery. First time for everything...ha. Take care, Sheila

I have never ever seen a cemetery restroom -- and I've seen some very large cemeteries. And yes, I'm betting they are full of spiders.

The last time I saw his and her out houses was at my uncle's servicestation in South Carolina.
Lemme tell ya! That would look like heaven if you gotta go, spiders or no spiders, the urge over rides the fear. Of course I do see trees in the distance! Are they big enough to hid behind???

How cute, they each have lattice work around them. I don't think I would set foot in one of them but it's sure cute to see the pictures.

Hi Paula,
Those just might be the fanciest out-houses ever. Around here, they'd go for $1.6 million a piece and the realtor would tell you they're loaded with "Old World Charm."
Best,
Marty

Hi Paula...well I can say I have been in the best of them...and the worst of them...and some in between...and also...if you gotta go...they look like the best decorated room outdoors LOLOL...specially as you say...you are a fur piece from nowhere!!!! LOL...and I can also say I don't think I have ever seen "outhouses" in a cemetery...but then today I went into a "pawn shop" and that is a first for me too!!! God Bless...hugs...Ora

I too, must confess ~ that's the first time I've ever seen his and her's in a cemetary ... but it is pretty nice that they are kept up ~ painted and lattice work ... not to shabby.

Well they are quite cute!
Hope you get back to your country roads and turtle whispering soon. I still won't be around much for a while, very busy time of year. Hope you have a great weekend Paula :-)

outhouses in a cemetary...who would have ever thought. Not so sure about those Tx spiders, especially the Black Widows and the scorpions...enough to make me want to 'hold it'
Have a great Mothers Day Paula

I think those are about the cutest his and her outhouses I have ever seen. My sisters painted an old WPA outhouse with big polka dots, etc, and loaded it up and brought it over to the Salt Gulch ranch when my husband and I started to live there. The outhouses the CCC's built were very substantial so I was grateful!

I sitting here trying to figure out what the diffence might be between the two. The only thing I can think of is that I've seen the difference between men and women's restrooms in restaurants and bars and the women's restrooms are always cleaner.
