I Couldn't Take Another Woman's Donkey

When we stop at Juan's village for John to talk to him about planting or baling I get a little near bored so I zoom in on one of he and Maria's animals to see if I can snap a picture without any junk in the background. I followed this chicken all over these premises until I decided one silver barrel in the background will have to do. When John and Juan came up for air I complimented him on his two donkeys. He told me Maria bought them at the cattle auction and they aren't good for anything. Then he added you want one of them? Duh ah hummm. U'all know how much I've wanted my very own donkey but I just could not bring myself to take another woman's donkey.

If I was trying to take a picture of something in 6 yards owned by a neighbor without junk it would be impossible. They are filthy trash, the owners and all houses are empty but 2 but they keep adding to the junk in the yards. They have a goat. Maybe John will buy you a donkey so you don't have to take another womans donkey. I was laughing so hard I could barely type.

Very kind hearted decision on your part. You don't need another status anyway!

Aww, Paula, take the donkey. I'm sure he is good for keeping the coyotes away from the cattle and the new calves. And they keep the snakes at bay. So, go for it, take another woman's donkey. She will probably thank you.

I have the same problem taking photos at my dad's farm -- trying not to get too much junk in the background.
