Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

More Frac Then Frick
I should have paid closer attention when John told me what frac is. I should have known someone would ask me and Toon did. When John gets home I will ask him to explain it again. I do know it is something they do to the oil wells at a certain point. The frac techs have to be on the site to do whatever it is they do at a certain time so the drillers don't have to sit around waiting for them to come. We see the Frac Techs driving their trucks heading out to the drilling sites and they are loaded with soda, water, bed rolls, what ever they may need while they are out there. Maybe someone who reads this can tell us before John gets back.

I guess if the F is capitalized, it's a company's name. Just a guess.
Short for fracture? Ahhhh, I'll just wait But I hope they get MUCH OIL!

Wow ... I'm stumped. Maybe Barbara is on to something.
Best,

I don't know what Frac is either; but if they bring in money ... I want one!
I agree with Mel. Sounds like you are holding your own with your chores.
Well, I look forward to finding out what it means and where the word came from!
I did wonder what it meant :O) ~ Ally x
Hubby says Frac techs are the folks that fractures the well with so many pounds of pressure. Over my head! LOL!
