I Didn't See That Moth In My Drawers

My dresser drawers that is. Brrr its cold enough in south Texas to wear knit hats and gloves. It seldom gets that cold here. Today when I took out my pretty maroon knit and leather gloves to wear them there was a hole near the thumb opening. I never saw a moth in my drawer. Where could he/she have been hiding? I know it must be a he because a she wouldn't eat a hole in a pretty pair of ladies gloves. Well maybe if she was starving. How dare a moth camp out in my drawer all summer and not even pay rent so I typed in keyword to check these little tramps out. Oh it says its the larva that does the eating of clothes. Well I still didn't give it permission to be there and I do clean my drawers once in a while. More often before I discovered the internet and blogs in particular. It also says they prefer dirty clothes or clothes that have had something spilled on them. I didn't like that last remark so Mr. and Mrs. Moth Larva better hope I don't see them.

I hope you evicted the little suckers!!!!

WE drop below freezing on this side of the Gulf tonight. Keep that kind of stuff over there in Texas. send us only the warm balmy air.

Our winter clothes don't stay packed away long enough for a moth to get them. Was the temps like zero when you got up and now at 12:00, 10 degrees? you get those buggers and be glad they are not bedbugs.

Aww, so sorry to hear the moths have been hanging out in your gloves, the lil destructive creatures. I guess they have to eat too. I just hope it is repairable. You could always make a snowman and use the gloves to warm his hands:)
