I'm So Excited

Our resident bunny rabbit has a mate. This morning was the first we saw two together. I always watch for the one as we pass the old tack shed. That seems to be where it would always hang out. Now I'm hoping to see some babies some day. One thing I will say for the farm house renters there now they don't have an urge to shoot everything in sight. Some renters in the past have had the idea because they live in the country they can target practise on anything that moves. John thinks the wild hogs have done away with a lot of the smaller animals. We only see signs of the wild hogs on the back forty now so that is good. Recently I saw the Blue Indigo and the small Horned Toad so things are looking up. We got a good look at Butter. She will probably have a new baby this month. We saw three exotic deer on the banker's property next door but they weren't anxious to see us. The Looker still watches us but she is getting tamer all time. I think she is finally convinced we are not there to make steak out of her. The turtles are happy and all is well at the ranch but would be so much better if we could get more rain.

jealous you saw an indigo! and i'm always amazed that we manage to keep some bunnies around here - the coyote population is rampant!

Glad that the Mrs. found a Mr. I saw a bunny this morning close to a ball field. Don't look at my feet because I have a sore toe. Part of the nail came loose(I don't know why) then I bumped it on a Walmart buggy and took a chunk out of the nail. Made it bleed like crazy. I happened to look right over my head and there was a roll of paper of some sort in a container, made good cleaning paper. Sure has been hurting. Helen

Be careful what you wish for Paula, you may be up to your ears in bunnies soon. I'm with you on the rain, we sure need it. Thanks for the tip about the pear based remedy for diabetes...sounds interesting and I would love to find out more about it. John Wingo

How cool to have baby rabbits on the way.
As we drove through South Arizona and parts of Texas I thought of you, as the ground was so dry. Tombstone AZ got a little shower while we were there last Tuesday. The locals were so thankful. I hope you get some rain soon.

I always liked little bunny rabbits. If they have a family, please try and get pictures.

I wish I could send you some of our rain. We're waterlogged.

It is supposed to rain here all week. If I could I would send it right on to you. It shows a compassionate person to name all of your favorite animals. I love your blog, just because of the way you write.
