Is She A Loaner Cat Or Is She A Loner Cat?

Daisy
I'm speaking of Daisy the cat I wrote about recently who adopted us when I had said absolutely no more pets. Daisy is both a loaner and a loner. She is a loaner because we surmise she comes from the herd of cats our catty corner neighbors own. She is a loner cat because she wants nothing to do with other cats. She stays across the street at my house most time under the lantana and where the air conditioner drains. She comes to John's house early in the morning for a hand-out but she doesn't infrindge on Susie's area. Susie's area is the front yard, front porch, and front tree. Daisy avoids that like the plague by walking across his vacant lot next door and then cutting to the back door where she waits with the patience of Job for someone to open the back door. She gets up from a nap stretching and looking at the door opener with begging  eyes. She isn't too picky either. I guess I was wrong about her having kittens under my shed but she doesn't look too thin to be a free loader so she may be going to have some. If she does I hope she moves them as soon as possible to our catty corner neighbor's where they would rightfully belong.

I hope she doesn't have babies. She sounds like she would make a good cat just minding her own business. Helen

Yes, sounds like a good cat. If she doesn't have kittens now, she will soon enough...lol.

Haha! I had to laugh, a loner or a loaner. I do like the fact she has manners not infringing. But I am sure she gets some good handouts from you, picky or not!.

I hope all goes well with the cats.

We have ' mousers ' born in our barn or woodshed every summer and we welcome them. Mama Cat, our loaner of mousers, and loner of the neighborhood as she wanders around in search of meals, is here daily. It could be because we keep her coming with freebies.
Love the owl hoots...we have a little 4 yr. old owl in the front room as I write, letting us know that he is awake for another day~

We've gotten many a new cat that way. Hopefully she won't have any kittens, and if she does, hopefully she won't keep them your house! lol Glad she respects Susie's space!
