Three calves nursing one Mama. I know your frustration Lucy. I went from Aol 9.0 to Aol Desktop 9.6. I was coping until I tried to post a picture here in my blog. I have worked about two hours trying to get two pictures and finally went to this picture and did it a different way and Hallalooya! Now if I can remember how I did it. It is a terrible thing to be technically challenged and old to boot. See how the land looks---sandy, dry, and hot. Mesquite trees in the back ground doesn't give much shade. Sorry for the boring post.

So glad you were able to stick with it and got your picture posted! I'm technically challenged too and doubt I would have accomplished what you did.
I always have trouble with pictures. That poor mama cow with 3 calves wanting her milk. That could be a little uncomfortable for mama. It is not fun getting old. I feel like I have been old longer than I was young.
oh, that poor mama cow!!! and hope the photo loading won't be a problem any more!!!
You probably realize that any entry featuring cows is not boring to me.
aw
who's that
lil white face
baby?
Never boring, Paula~~~
I'm hoping Mama Cow is getting enough to sustain herself too, with feeding three...she's a good Mama.
Speaking of which, I love, Love, LOVE the sidebar pic of you and your girls....beautiful!

Not a boring post at all, love seeing your photos and it sounds like it took you a good while to get it posted. Poor cow. I had a doe with twins come up to the horses feed trough after I fed them this morning. I know she had to be hungry nursing two. We have a feeder for the deer and I'm scouting out trees to hang it from, guess it's time to give them some nutrients our grass is gone.
I hope those three don't pull all the calcium out of the cows body. We had that happen to one of our milk cows once. The vet had to come out and give her a shot and I had to take the calves from her. Just let them nurse a quarter each at night. She got so weak she staggered all over the place like a drunk person would. Helen
Switching systems is a pain.
Nice of the mama to share her milk with the kids friend. You have NEVER had a boring post.
I prefer cows to people. And I am glad I did not have to nurse anyone. ~Mary
Paula, your posts are never boring...just the picture alone is worthwhile. I hope you get rain.
