Fixin' That Boss Cow

I wonder what she will think now. She can't hog the feed and the second boss can't either. On the way to the ranch we stopped at John's daughters and picked up about six or eight empty mineral tubs. John scattered them all around the cow yard plus three bath tubs already there. Now one cow can't stand there and hog the feed and chase the others away because they are too far apart for her to control. John really wants to cut her horns but its been too hot. that would take some of the starch out of her. I do hate to see him cut the pretty horns as it gives them their personality and looks. John doesn't care about personality and looks, he wants babies to sell. lol It must have rained right ahead of us at the ranch as it was cool and fresh and little mud puddles everywhere. The rain gauge mesaured a quarter inch. The tank dam was even a little slippery and we spun a little. When we got to the east property we scared up a small herd of deer. They were moving on as if they know deer season is right around the corner. They needn't fear us. We don't hunt anything except with our eyes to admire.
