Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Life Ain't Always Fair Even For Animals
She stays on her own property, on her own porch, or her own tree, or yard. She doesn't climb on screens. She doesn't meow needlessly. For a cat she is almost perfect after coming from a broken home and a runnaway mother. Yesterday we were on our way to pay one of the lease payments. John stepped out the door ahead of me and just in time. Two big light colored dogs meant to kill. They were on our porch and had already broke her cute little turtle dish and one was dragging her by the leg and the other had his mouth around her middle. John yelled and they turned her loose and ran down the street. John called the police where the dog catcher is headquartered from. They came right out but the dogs were no where to be seen. She is here in our little kitty hospital recuperating on a shelf where she feels safe that nothing can reach her. She was able to get up there by herself so I think she is just sore and still scared. I'm checking on her several times a day and giving her all soft food which is the kind she likes. A trama like that is hard on an old person so it must be on a cat. Feel better Susie!

i am so sorry to hear this! you saved her just in time!
I hope kitty recovers quickly and I especially hope the dogs are caught before they hurt anyone else
I'm glad you got back in time. I hope the kitty will be okay. Paula my granddaughter and her family move to England in March her husband is in the Air Force and will be station over there for 3 years. He's in San Antonio Tx. now for some schooling or training for 2 weeks I think this is his last week. Take care, Jean.
Oh how terrible! My heart sank reading this. I do hope she will be fine. With your love and care, I am sure she will be.
A no-good neighbor dog killed the best barn cat we ever had, and she had been with us for over ten years.
Yikes! I hope she recovers quickly.
Oh my Lord! I am glad John went outside just in time. I am sure that was devastating for the little girl.
WOW! What a close call for Susie. Thank goodness John went out when he did. I love the thoughts of your cat hospital, personal care from someone she loves and trusts. Too bad the dogs were out of sight.
Our best to Susie, give her a pat for us.
