Just Checking In

I haven't been to the ranch since before December 1st. Company is still here since their next destination called and cancelled their short visit with them. Humm! The male counterpart is helping John burn pear every morning. He carrys the propane tank while John burns the stickers off the cactus for the cattle to eat. No new calves they say. We've had a lot of drizzle and light rain so that has been good. The days are cloudy and I'm enjoying that compared to last summer. we have done a lot of driving around the country side with coughing and nose blowing all the way. Seems we've just passed it around among the four of us but I think everyone is feeling better now. Someone drove a tractor and four wheeler into John's sister's property and another property in the country breaking fences and gates down. we plan to take company to Seguin, Texas on Monday for a nephew to take them to the airport in Austin, Texas where they will fly to Georgia to spend Christmas with a daughter and then on back home to Alaska to face the snow. They said they had 32 inches in November. See ya later!

Paula, you should be nominated for sainthood! I guarantee you NOBODY would stay at my house as a guest for that long... unless they're a grandchild, and even then I will make them miserable.

Ahha! Your company is from Alaska. No wonder they don't want to leave mild Texas and go back to Iceberg City!

The end is near. The neverending visit is almost over. REJOICE. Although I don't envy them heading back to 32 inches of snow. No wonder they stayed so long. Take care.
