Chocolate Fix
This was the convenience store in a railroad car where I bought my chocolate fix when we lived on the ranch. I would go to town about a mile away to pick up the mail so this was right on the way. It has sat vacant and grown up with weeds and the gas pumps removed for several years. John and his son will be working cattle out there this morning. vacinating the new calves that have been born since the last cattle working. He has a 50% calf crop on the ground even though he has lost four mama cows this year. The farm house is coming along. The well man's brother wants to rent it. The stock tank is full of water so all is well at the ranch as of now. If the rains continue at intervals it will be a blessing.

I had heard last week (or maybe earlier - you know how time flies) that your area was getting some much needed rain. Ours seems to have slacked off a bit but still no complaints compared to this time last year. Except we're having to mow a lot more!
What a neat little store. Too bad it's not still operating.
I'm thrilled your stock tanks are full. Hopefully, they will remain full all summer long.

Yeah we too have had the rain, also needed here.

Another chocolate- holic. Good you had a place close enough to get it. Your header is beautiful. This business of knee surgery is sure an up and down thing from day to day. Glad when it is totally healed.

We have been blessed with rain so far if it keeps up we won't have another horrible summer like last year.
Our pond is full too and scary for me when I mow around it. I am always afraid of slipping and sliding right down into it. I think I would have a heart attach with all the water moccasins. lol
Glad things are going well. I need a chocolate fix myself right now would be good.
