Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Cinco de Mayo Tomorrow
Of course we aren't Hispanic so we don't celebrate it but we could. We were invited to our neighbor's daughter's 15th birthday celebration tomorrow night. The invitation is pretty with a part of a real peacock feather on it with her name. They are having a Holy Mass celebration at the local Catholic church. Dinner and Mariachi in the next town over at the American Legion hall. A dance to follow that. At the very bottom is the words that cancel us. Formal. We'll just give her a gift and when the beer starts flowing I don't think anyone will notice we aren't there.

"Formal". That would cancel us, too. We don't do formal.
I've been to one of those. It was a blast but very formal. Like a wedding celebration.
Every day is Cinco de Mayo here in the wilds of West Texas!
I generally don't like parties of any kind, and I quickly flee from formal ones!
You'll be missed, I'm sure. But the FORMAL attire would keep us away too. tomorrow is Kentucky Derby Day. Going to be wearing my hat and celebrating it and Cinco de Mayo. You have fun whatever you do. Take care.
That sounds like a lot of fun! I am sure you WILL be missed.
I am celebrating Cinco de Mayo at home today...lol...just kidding, but I do plan to stay home this day and relax. Take care.
Well formal always scares me the other way too. lol
Just wanted to come by and see how your doing and say hello.
I have a friend wanting me to go to her husbands crab boil today and I am trying my best to get out of it. lol
At least I know its not formal.
Love

No ' formal ' here, either. If I cannot wear my jeans and a nice shirt, count me outa there. Well, maybe, I'd dress a bit better, like capri's for a wedding, so long as I had a nice tan legs...ha!
I missed lots of blog days, happy to read all that's been going on at the ranch.
