Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

A Flower Or Two
Last month you could have picked a flower or two or many at the ranch. This month they are all gone and it was dry as a bone until yesterday. It rained and stormed off and on all day and into last night. On top of a few showers other days it has soaked in and water is standing everywhere. The cows are playing "hide and seek". We can't seek as it is so wet we can only drive down the lane to the farm house but no farther. Usually it just rains one place or the other. Here in town or at the ranch. The rain was wide spread so our lawns are watered very well too. We're thankful!

Doin' the happy rain dance! I know how you Texans love that rain. I visited my sister in June once when it was brown and dry and very full of prickers or stickers or whatever you call those nasty buggers :) Now she visits us in the summer months when it's nice and green and we do the winter months down your way ~ when you have cooler weather than in June. I can't take your heat ~ I feel like a piece of bacon in a fryin'pan.
Glad to hear of the rain. Sounds like you needed it!
We could use a good rain like that too, everything is so dried up here. Have a great weekend :)
