Dig These Trees
Yes how I wish I could have one of the trees in my yard. John's indoor-outdoor thermometer reads 104 degrees under the front porch this afternoon. The header photo is from one of our county treks a couple of years ago. The gate into a ranch. Have no idea if it is a large ranch to match the gate or if it is a small ranch with a wishful thinking gate.

either way, it's pretty. yup, we're heating up now. bummer... :)
It is very beautiful and it is hot here but not that hot. sandie
One never knows what lies behind locked gates, until you are invited. And mostly those gates, I am never invited behind.
I do love the trees though, I'm with you on that.
Beautiful trees...not a bad gate either but, like Jack, have not been invited behind one yet. I have, however, rested beneath a huge tree or two or three or more.

Those trees in the photo are magnificent. I'll bet they're older than me...(am I being sarcastic?).
I laughed when you said that it could be a small ranch with a "wishful thinking gate."
Not so hot here now with all the storms but about the same last your heat last week and sure it will be back by next week.
I kind of like the idea of a wishful thinking gate :)
It is near 95 now and I hate to see our electric bill. Cool picture.
LOVE the gate. We have a horse farm near us that has a very cool looking one too. Stay cool. That heat is brutuaL, FOR SURE.
