Pipeline Report

I know you just can't wait for that. Sorry I'm just not completely a girly girl. I find things like this interesting. I've always kinda like to watch country men stand around and talk and every once in a while one of them will spit on the ground to make a point. Okay it was sooo hot already at eight after John had done some chores while I sipped my coffee. We drove to the back and got onto the pipeline righ away. The crew wasn't there so I wonder if they will see our tracks. Every so often they had thrown out three or four timbers. We are thinking they are going to spread them out and lay the pipe on them. Then John wanted to show me the bridge they built over the dry creek bed. It doesn't have any sides on it but it looks strong probably to drive the equipment over to the other side. I wonder if they would leave it when they are finished if John ask them. Maybe they would have to ask permission from the land owner or maybe they want the timbers etc. for another location. There is one thing about all this that really cracks me up. They built the nice gaps where they needed them to drive and put the pipeline through but maybe a few feet down the fence will be broken or completely down as this is cross fence that hasn't been needed. Of course I know there are people who would complain if they didn't make it look nice. They have to deal with the land owners and the leasee which is John in this case. I guess they were working on some other property today as we never saw them unless they came in later as we headed home early to get out of the heat.

placing the pipe on timbers is interesting. you'll have to let us know if that's really what they do with them.

Good morning Paula, just stopped in to see what is going on in your world, as it is always something interesting. I love that you are out and about so early and on country roads. Tell them to leave the bridge!!!

I have a feeling we are two of a kind. I would be the same way. lol
I think if you ask them they would be able to leave the bridge. I know it has been done before.
Thanks honey for coming by and leaving me such a sweet comment about my Bad Boy. haha
I rode him all morning and then at noon I nearly passed out from the heat so I put him away for the day.
Have a great weekend
Love

When there is work being done, you have to stay on top of things and see what's what. LOVE your new header.

It must be kind of interesting to go out and look at things when the people are not there. Then you can really explore.
