Redneck Entertainment

We went out to the ranch just to check out if the pipeline crew had done  anything. Boy! they had opened up the world out there. They have cut a 75 foot swath all across the ranch. Down to the bare dirt and a tall long hill of dirt. John said if it starts raining (fat chance of that) that is going to be a mess. Large pieces of machinery sitting here and there. The grass is so dead now it doesn't look like they are taking much grazing away and if they plant if back and it rains it could be better for the cows then it was. Remains to be seen. I'm so glad they aren't taking any large oak trees. They grow along the dry creek bed and the area they are going over  doesn't have but one and they were able to miss it. I'm thinking they worked on Sunday although I wouldn't think they would have. I'm sure we were out there Saturday and all this commotion hadn't taken place. I know we are on the verge of senile but I don't see how we could have missed it. lol Some of the silly cows were already up there checking it all out. Very early this morning new renter called to say it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through his back door. Guess John failed to inform him this was going to take place. After the sun goes down we may just drive out for some more of this free redneck entertainment.

I love Redneck entertainment...I actually spent a good deal of the morning watching a caterpillar eat a leaf, to find out he was the culprit eating my garden...' splat,' Nuff Said;) Now, that's a wide swath they dug. It will be great if they seed your range for the cattle.
