Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Owl Story
I have a fondness for owls so this story and pictures which I don't have here caught my eye. On our local news a woman told of driving 60 miles an hour and knowing she hit a bird. She felt bad , but kind of forgot about it. The next morning when she went out to her car there was an owl looking out the grill on her car. She didn't know what to do so she called the police. A man came out and opened the hood and was able to release the owl with out harm. They showed pictures on the news and it looked so cute behind those bars first blinking one eye and then two.

oh my gosh! that poor bird must have been terrified!
I might add the owl didn't look afraid. It looked calm and as if it was thinking "who can go my bail?"
What a neat story. Also what a tough bird. Glad she looked in the grill to see the eyes saying "Whooooo Whoooo will go my bail?"
You are something else.
Neat post Thanks....
Is this true???
One lucky old owl I would say Paula.Me not to keen on owls LOL!!Glad it wasn't my car.Take Care God Bless Kath XXX
Heard about that on the radio on my drive in to work this morning. Wild! Can't imagine how it got inside without getting hurt. I like to sit out on the back steps and try to answer the owls and make them call back again.
