If It Walks Like A Duck

Then it probably is a duck. It is a duck, in fact there are 26 ducks at our river (our river, I use that phrase loosely). If you always want to count things does that mean you have some sort of syndrome? I know there is at least one other person in blog land who likes to count, but I won't snitch on him. You know it would be kind of fun growing OLD-ER if it wasn't for the pesky health problems. Oh well it's like I told my doctor yesterday we have to be thankful that we are still standing perpendicular. This morning we got up early and decided we didn't want to be up, so we went back to bed. When we did finally arise we went to McDonalds to share a big breakfast. Doesn't take a lot of food for OLD-ER people to feed the ducks. The park was quiet except for three teen boys playing basket ball and one young lady riding her bike and one man walking with a stomach pouch probably because the doctor told him to. He didn't look too happy to be inhaling all that fresh air and he sure wasn't interested in ducks. The ducks seemed to sense we might be a good touch for some bread, so they all came over under the big oak tree. The turtles now have competition for our old bread. All 26 ducks liked the bread.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, yep, it's a duck...
Lovin' it. You are so kind to share your old-er bread but, you definitely are full of spunk.

Yeah, us counters are of the intelligent strain of humans. LOL

I was counting streets in the French Quarter today.

It is fun to stop by to see what you come up with to tell us. You never disappoint. Thanks.

We have made it as far as Nawlins....

lol. I think having to count things would fall under the obsessive-compulsive division. My daughter is obsessive-compulsive, and thought she doesn't count things, she has to have things in a particular order or it drives her crazy. It's ok....you are in good company. My daughter is an amazing person!

You are an amazing person, too. Not only do you go and hunt for a blind calf, but you go and feed 26 ducks! You are so kind!

me again...in answer to your question...yes, only on very hot days, do my toes go in the icy cold spring-fed creek by our cabin...but the grandkids walk it all the time, or fall in while frog catchin'.

There is accumulation exhaustion that comes with health issues. So a little extra bedtime is good for you. Still, it doesn't look like health problems have broken your spirit, or your love of counting~that is a very innocuous "vice."
